Welcome to my website and thank you for your interest in my campaign for the Fifth Court of Appeals. I have been preparing myself to serve our community as an appellate justice for 32 years, and I am confident that I have the experience you can trust. I am the only candidate in this race who has devoted his legal career to the practice of appellate law before the Texas Courts of Appeals and Texas Supreme Court. Importantly, I have also been board certified in civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1987.

If provided the opportunity to serve, I will work tirelessly to do the important work of the court, to exercise judicial restraint by applying the law as written consistent with the proper role of the court and our Constitution. If the last four months are any indication, the campaign ahead will not be easy and my success will depend on the assistance of individuals like you, who care about a qualified judiciary and the proper role of our courts in our constitutional Republic form of government.
